What is Tarangini Veena?
Tarangini Veena is the most ancient stringed instrument of India and is associated with Saraswati, the goddess of learning and the arts. Veena is also known as the queen of musical instruments. It is one among the principal trio of musical instruments mentioned in vedic literature, while the other being Flute and Mridanga.
Since ancient times,Tarangini Veena is described as divine instrument and playing Veena is considered to be a yoga. Great epics like Ramayana, Mahabharata also speak of Veena.
